Requirements

What we're looking for

  • University degree in Engineering or Master's in Digital Electronics, Embedded Systems or a related discipline.
  • At least 5 years of experience in FPGA development.

The role

As part of our projects, we are looking to bring in an FPGA Engineer to participate in the development of embedded FPGA solutions, integrated into complex electronic and computing systems.

The selected person will participate in the different phases of the development cycle, from requirements analysis and architecture definition, to the integration and validation of the implemented functionalities.

The position offers the opportunity to work on technologically advanced projects, collaborating closely with Electronics, Embedded Software, and Systems teams.

What you'll do

Responsibilities

The main functions include:

  • Analyze functional requirements and participate in the definition and decision-making of FPGA architecture.
  • Design and develop RTL (Register-Transfer Level) functions using VHDL and/or Verilog.
  • Perform functional simulations and verify compliance with the requirements of the FPGA developments.
  • Define synthesis and timing constraints.
  • Participate in the integration of FPGAs into electronic boards.
  • Contribute to debugging, bring-up, and validation activities.
  • Participate in design reviews and technical discussions with the Electronics, Embedded Software, and Systems teams.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of the area's development methodologies and best practices.
