About the role

Do you want to define the electronic architecture that powers our smart products? We are looking for an Embedded System Platform Architect to lead the comprehensive design of the electronic system, ensuring that hardware, firmware, and software work together as a coherent, secure, and highly reliable whole.

What you'll do

  • Design the complete architecture of the electronic system for new products and updates, ensuring scalability, performance, and regulatory compliance (CE, FCC, UL).
  • Define internal communication protocols, interfaces, error handling, and synchronization between electronic modules.
  • Design firmware update mechanisms (OTA and local), including secure bootloaders, cryptographic validation, and fault-tolerant strategies.
  • Create concepts for "smart spare parts" capable of self-updating or self-configuring.
  • Develop advanced power management strategies, optimizing consumption and ensuring efficiency.
  • Lead reliability analysis, functional safety, and redundancy / fail-safe mechanisms.
  • Produce clear architectural documentation: MBSE diagrams, data flows, requirements, APIs, and system specifications.
  • Provide expert support in troubleshooting, performance analysis, and resolution of complex issues.
  • Collaborate with product, embedded software, IoT/cloud, operations, and quality teams; and technically lead junior engineers.
