About Scento

Scento is Europe's largest perfume decant website. Founded in 2024 and headquartered in Paris on Place Vendôme, with a second office in Berlin, Scento offers more than 1,000 original designer and niche perfumes from a roster of 200 houses as perfume decants: 2 ml, 5 ml and 8 ml vials plus a 30 ml bottle on most perfumes. Niche perfume samples and designer fragrance samples let people discover a scent before they commit to a full bottle. Every perfume is an original bought from authorised European retailers, and every bottle passes a 12-point intake check at Scento's ISO-certified facility before it is decanted.

Scento serves customers in 27 European markets and ships to 26 EU countries. In 2026, Scento's annual revenue is more than €30 million, online and offline sales combined. On Scento.com, monthly decant sales in September 2026 were 3.2 times those of January 2026. Scento says it sells more than 3 million perfume decants a year, about one every 10 seconds. In November 2025, Scento announced it would invest €25 million over three years in European perfume discovery.

The role

Scento sells more than 1,000 original designer and niche perfumes to customers in 27 European markets, and every decision about marketing spend, stock and assortment depends on numbers people can trust. Today those numbers are good; the ambition is for them to be exceptional.

As Head of Data & Analytics you own the whole data function, from pipelines and metric definitions to the models that tell us where the next euro should go. Success means every team can answer its own questions quickly, and leadership plans with confidence.

What you'll do

• Own Scento's data foundations: warehouse, pipelines, metric definitions and dashboards.
• Build attribution, cohort, lifetime value and margin models that guide marketing spend.
• Forecast demand for perfumes and decants together with operations and buying.
• Make every team self-serve on trustworthy numbers, with one clear source of truth.
• Set the roadmap, standards and hiring plan for the data function as it grows.

What you'll bring

• 8+ years in analytics or data science, including 3+ leading a data function in e-commerce or consumer tech.
• Excellent SQL and statistics, with hands-on experience of modern data stacks and product analytics.
• Marketing measurement experience, including incrementality and attribution.
• Fluent English.

Salary and how to apply

Salary: €135,000 - €175,000 gross per year, full-time, permanent contract, plus an annual performance bonus.

Location: Berlin or Paris, or remote from anywhere in the EU.
