• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program, preferably with a focus on Sustainability, Environmental Sciences or a related field.
• Strong interest in sustainability, ESG topics, and corporate responsibility, with a willingness to continuously learn.
• Basic understanding of sustainability reporting, ESG metrics, or frameworks such as CSRD and GRI is an advantage.
• First practical experience through internships, working student roles, projects, or volunteer work in sustainability-related areas is a plus.
• Fluent English, German or additional languages are an advantage.

Sustainability Trainee

Join Schindler's Global Sustainability Office and support ESG data management, sustainability reporting, and regulatory compliance. You'll gain hands-on experience contributing to sustainability disclosures aligned with frameworks such as CSRD and GRI while helping drive meaningful sustainability initiatives across a global organization.
• Support the collection, validation, and analysis of sustainability data and ESG KPIs that help measure our progress and inform strategic decisions.
• Contribute to sustainability reporting activities, including drafting content and supporting disclosures aligned with CSRD, GRI, and other relevant standards.
• Help improve reporting processes, methodologies, and tools to ensure high-quality and reliable sustainability data.
• Research sustainability trends, regulations, and best practices to support ongoing initiatives and compliance efforts.
• Prepare presentations, internal communications, meeting materials, and coordinate activities across the Global Sustainability Office.
