Field Technician - Gas Insulated Switchgear (GIS) for Primary and Secondary Distribution

You will be responsible for providing professional services to Schneider Electric customers, including on-site technical analysis to resolve customer issues and performing field service tasks across the full range of MESA equipment - primarily (but not exclusively) the following: Gas Insulated Switchgear (GIS) for Primary Distribution, Gas Insulated Switchgear (GIS) for Secondary Distribution. Main Responsibilities and Functions: Perform field technician duties for service activities under the supervision of your coordinator. Comply with all safety policies, practices, and procedures at all times. Lead services by performing Lead Technician duties on services provided at customer facilities, serving as the visible point of contact for the work team. Provide technical support to customers during service visits to their facilities. Services: installation, commissioning, and technical support for the full range of MESA products. Respond to service calls promptly and effectively for repairs and troubleshooting. Report on site visits, including: spare parts, defective parts, and equipment repairs. Build strong relationships with customers and service partners. Collaborate internally with different departments at SEE. Identify business opportunities. Minimum Requirements: Fundamental knowledge of Electromechanics: Experience as a field technician performing hands-on technical work in the field of medium voltage and high voltage products in after-sales service, technical support, or maintenance. Electrical, electromechanical, and electronic knowledge. Knowledge of electrical risk LV/MV/HV. Knowledge of Occupational Risk Prevention. Fast Learning Ability: Aptitude for quickly acquiring new technical knowledge, especially Schneider Electric-specific platforms and tools. Customer Service Orientation: Skills to interact effectively with customers, identifying and resolving their issues efficiently. Effective communicator, both orally and in writing. Teamwork and Collaboration: Ability to work well in a team environment, collaborating and sharing knowledge. Knowledge of Transformers and Protection Relays: Skill in diagnosing problems and finding solutions, accustomed to working under pressure to achieve results/objectives. Strong planning and organizational skills. Technical knowledge of electronic/electrical component theory. Comply with all safety policies, practices, and procedures. Service vocation and customer orientation, negotiation and influencing skills. Ability to present information effectively and respond to customer group questions. Hold a valid driver's license. Frequent travel nationally/internationally. Education and Experience: Technician, Senior Technician / Technical Engineer in Electrotechnics with at least 2 years of related experience, or 4-5 years of equivalent experience in a related field, or equivalent combinations of education and experience. Reporte para visitas al sitio incluyendo; Repuestos, repuestos defectuosos y reparaciones de equipos. Construir relaciones sólidas con clientes y socios de servicio Colaboración interna con los diferentes departamentos de SEE Realizar la detección de oportunidades de negocio Requisitos mínimos Conocimientos Fundamentales de Electromecánica: Experiencia como técnico de campo realizando trabajos técnicos de ejecución en el ámbito de productos en media tensión y alta tensión en las aéreas de postventa, asistencia técnica o mantenimiento. Eléctrico, electromecánico y electrónico. Conocimientos riesgo eléctrico BT-MT-AT. Conocimientos de Prevención de Riesgos Laborales. Capacidad de Aprendizaje Rápido: Aptitud para adquirir nuevos conocimientos técnicamente, especialmente las plataformas y herramientas específicas de Schneider Electric. Orientación al Servicio al Cliente: Habilidades para interactuar efectivamente con los clientes, identificando y resolviendo sus problemas de manera eficiente. Comunicador efectivo tanto de forma oral como escrita Trabajo en Equipo y Colaboración Capacidad para trabajar bien en un entorno de equipo, colaborando y compartiendo conocimientos. Poseer de un permiso de conducir válido. Desplazamientos continuos a nivel nacional/internacional.
