Field Service Technician

As a Field Service Technician at Siemens Gamesa, you will be responsible for the proper functioning of our customers' wind farms and for ensuring the maximum performance of each wind turbine throughout its entire service life. You will also ensure that the wind turbines operate at maximum capacity and generate the maximum amount of energy for our customers. • Inspect, repair, and maintain wind turbines. Locate and correct faults and breakdowns. Assist in the commissioning of wind turbines. Complete and maintain specific documentation. Measure and report on key performance indicators and objectives for the area.

A passion for renewable energy and a sense of the importance of leading change. We are also looking for... It is essential to reside in Burgos/Palencia or the surrounding area. A degree in engineering or a Higher Level Vocational Training Certificate (FP2) is required. Experience in a similar role, such as in the electrical or industrial maintenance sectors, is required. The ability to work at heights and in adverse weather conditions. Knowledge of SAP, as well as data collection and reporting software, will be an added value. Conversational English (A2 level) is required, as English is essential for reading manuals. Bilingual or native Spanish speaker.
