Engineering Project Director - Data Center

What are we looking for?

We are looking for someone with a solid track record in leading complex engineering projects and the ability to thrive in highly demanding, multicultural environments.

We would like you to bring:

• A degree in Engineering, Architecture, or an equivalent technical qualification.

• More than 12 years of experience in engineering, design, or the management of complex projects.

• Proven experience leading multidisciplinary teams in sectors such as Data Centers, critical infrastructures, advanced industry, hospitals, airports, energy, or large landmark buildings.

• Solid knowledge of planning, scope management, costs, risks, and quality.

• The ability to manage high-level clients and stakeholders.

• A high level of English to work on international projects.

• Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and influencing skills.

We will especially value previous experience in:

• Experience with hyperscale Data Centers or colocation facilities.

• Experience with BIM environments and multidisciplinary coordination.

• Experience managing engineering and construction contracts.

• PMP, IPMA, PRINCE2, or similar certifications.

• Experience working with international teams and in multicultural environments.

Your mission

You will be responsible for fully leading complex engineering projects, managing multidisciplinary teams, and acting as the main point of reference for clients, consultants, contractors, and key stakeholders.

You will have an overall view of the project, ensuring that technical, economic, and scheduling objectives are met, driving collaboration across disciplines, and guaranteeing the quality of the solutions developed.

How will your day be day?

• Leading engineering projects from the initial design phases through to construction support and commissioning.

• Coordinating teams across architecture, structures, civil, mechanical, electrical, fire protection, BIM, telecommunications, and other technical disciplines.

• Defining execution strategies, planning, resources, and key project milestones.

• Managing communication with international clients and leading follow-up meetings, technical workshops, and decision-making processes.

• Overseeing risks, scope changes, interfaces, and contractual conditions.

• Driving continuous improvement processes, technical quality, and excellence in project delivery.

• Mentoring and developing high-performance teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, responsibility, and professional growth.

• Taking part in some of the most advanced projects in the Data Center and critical infrastructure sector.
