The role
At Sener Aeroespacial y Defensa, we participate in some of the most demanding technological programs in the space and defense sector. To guarantee the reliability of equipment that must operate in extreme environments, we are looking to hire an EEE and Radiation Components Engineer who wants to develop their career in a highly specialized discipline with great international projection.
You will join a team of experts responsible for the selection, validation, and qualification of the electronic, electrical, and electromechanical components that form part of our space and defense systems, contributing directly to the success of missions where reliability is non-negotiable.
What you'll do
You will be a key figure in the definition and validation of EEE components for high-reliability equipment, participating in all phases of the project life cycle, from the bid to final delivery.
Your main responsibilities will include:
Select, identify, and specify EEE components in accordance with customer requirements, space regulations, and Sener's internal standards.
Collaborate closely with electronic and mechanical design, quality, and purchasing teams to find the optimal balance between performance, reliability, availability, and cost.
Be part of the EEE specialist team in charge of defining and harmonizing the technologies used in our space and defense programs.
Maintain technical dialogue with international component manufacturers and suppliers.
Participate in technical reviews and meetings with customers, preparing documentation associated with critical project milestones (DCL, PAD, CJF, trade-offs, among others).
Analyze validation, testing, and screening data to verify the suitability of components for mission requirements.
Contribute to the definition of evaluation, qualification, and approval plans for components.
Participate in R&D activities related to EEE components, new technologies, and radiation environments.
Perform technical monitoring of specialized suppliers and subcontractors.
Select components for development and qualification models (EQM, EM, and BBM).
Collaborate in the preparation and review of radiation analysis and reports for space programs.
