  • Minimum of 5 years of experience performing functions similar to those described.

  • Advanced level of English (B2-C1).

The role

At Sener we wish to incorporate into our team an Industrialization and Production Systems Engineer at our Zamudio workplace.

Within the production management area of the Electromechanical Systems division, we are looking for a person who will be responsible for supporting the Production Management in the definition and deployment of the global industrialization strategy necessary to face the increase in deliveries in Defense and Space projects. The position will transform future demand into integrated plans for capacity, facilities, people, resources, processes, and digital production systems, ensuring a coherent evolution from project industrialization to stable, scalable, and efficient production.

What you'll do

The general functions to be developed are the following:

  • Define and maintain the global industrialization and capacity scaling roadmap, aligned with the project portfolio, delivery commitments, and the Operations strategy.

  • Convert demand forecasting into capacity scenarios and resource plans: people, competencies, shifts, spaces, facilities, equipment, tooling, test benches, and critical materials.

  • Develop the master plan for industrial facilities and resources, including layout, CAPEX needs, priorities, implementation phases, and operational preparation of workshops, laboratories, and cleanrooms.

  • Define, review, and standardize the industrialization model and its maturity milestones, from the design and prototyping phase to pre-series, transfer, and recurring production (PRR, MRR, rate readiness, and industrial acceptance criteria).

  • Review and improve cross-functional processes for production, planning, work-in-progress control, internal logistics, procurement, and risk management, clarifying responsibilities, master data, and indicators.

  • Define the functional architecture and roadmap for PLM, MES/MoM, APS, and ERP tools, guaranteeing their integration with Sener's processes and the continuity of the digital manufacturing thread.

  • Establish the governance of industrial transformation: priorities, initiative portfolio, risks, dependencies, indicators, benefit tracking, and coordination between projects, centers, and functions.

More specifically, you will be responsible for the following tasks:

  • Build and update the aggregate industrial plan for Defense and Space, identifying bottlenecks, capacity gaps, and necessary decisions in advance.

  • Prepare analyses and business cases to justify new hires, competency development, facility investments, and the acquisition or development of production and testing resources.

  • Define capacity sizing and simulation models, comparing alternatives for shifts, hiring, subcontracting, investment, stock, and sequencing.

  • Functionally lead the definition of target processes and business requirements for 3DEXPERIENCE/3DS (PLM), Apriso (MES/MoM), the future APS, and the ERP (Navision).

  • Coordinate with IT, suppliers, and integrators on functional design, interfaces, master data, testing, production rollout, and user adoption; the position is not limited to the technical configuration of a tool.

  • Drive the selection and implementation of the APS, defining use cases, planning rules, constraints, horizons, indicators, and integration mechanisms with ERP, MES/MoM, and PLM.

  • Review and improve the PII methodology and industrialization documentation: production strategy, POAP, LTC, PFMEA, control plans, instructions, routes, times, and industrial maturity criteria.

  • Coordinate functionally within multidisciplinary teams of Production, Engineering, Quality, Purchasing, Supply Chain, Configuration, IT, and Projects, facilitating decisions and ensuring the effective implementation of changes.

  • Define and monitor indicators for capacity, plan compliance, productivity, quality, lead time, WIP, industrial maturity, and the progress of transformation initiatives.
