Requirements

What we're looking for

University degree in Telecommunications Engineering or equivalent technical degree. Master's degree is valued.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in one of the following areas:
- Design of radar system architectures and/or radar performance prediction.
- Radar signal processing and/or algorithm modeling in Matlab.
- Communication signal processing or beamforming techniques.
Knowledge and experience in functional product design oriented towards radar systems.
English level C1 or higher for participation in international projects with European partners.
Ability to obtain the required Personal Security Clearance up to NATO Secret / National Restricted level.
Spanish nationality required due to the clearance needs associated with the project.
Ability to work in multidisciplinary teams and in high-demand technological environments.

Nice to have

Knowledge of advanced signal processing techniques such as beamforming, synthetic aperture radar (SAR), and STAP will be very positively valued.
Research experience related to radar technologies and/or Doctoral studies will be valued.
Experience in international radar programs will be valued.
Having a valid Personal Security Clearance (PSC) up to NATO Secret / National Restricted level will be valued.

We want to recruit an Airborne Radar Systems Engineer with experience in functional product design, radar signal processing, algorithm modeling, and radar system architecture to join design and development projects for signal processing algorithms for airborne radar systems in international Defense environments.

What you'll do

Participate in functional product design within the field of airborne radar systems.
Design and develop radar signal processing algorithms, including pulse compression, detection using CFAR techniques, correlation, and plot extraction.
Collaborate in the design of radar system architectures and in radar performance prediction activities.
Develop and model signal processing algorithms using Matlab.
Participate in activities related to communication signal processing and beamforming techniques.
Contribute to the definition, analysis, and evolution of radar solutions in international programs.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and European partners within high technological complexity Defense projects.
Participate in activities for the analysis, validation, and performance improvement of the developed systems.

Review of your profile: We evaluate your experience and skills to determine if you fit what we are looking for.

Technical interview: You will meet with the team, who will explain the project and daily tasks. We will also explore your technical knowledge. Additionally, we will conduct brief psychological and English competency assessments (if required).
