What we're looking for
University degree studies in the field of Industrial/Electronic Engineering or related studies
Intermediate level of English
Experience in the offered position of at least 4 years
Experience in SMD electronic assembly technology
Experience in SMT assembly line
Practical knowledge in programming and operation of SMT equipment, AOI, SPI, screen printing, ovens and test systems
Experience in analysis and resolution of incidents on assembly lines
Experience in handling quality standards and norms
A person accustomed to working in multidisciplinary teams in international environments
Nice to have
Additional training in industrial organization, production engineering or similar is valued
Experience in high-reliability products is valued

The role
At Sener Aerospace and Defense, we wish to incorporate an SMT Electronic Assembly Production Engineer into our team at our work center in Cerdanyola del Vallès, Barcelona.
What you'll do
What you will do:
Ensure the industrialization, optimization and continuous improvement of processes in the SMT electronic assembly line, contributing to the quality, efficiency and competitiveness of production, with your main tasks being:
Industrialization of new products in the electronic assembly area
Assessment, evaluation and installation of new equipment and technology in the area
Development and implementation of new processes and improvements
Proposals for changes and optimization of processes and products
General process documentation
Analysis and resolution of line quality issues
Introduction of product modifications in series production
Development/collaboration on all types of new projects in the area
Estimation of times and investments
Participation in continuous improvement projects and in the evaluation/installation of new equipment and technologies.
