Requirements

What we're looking for

Training preferably in Hospitality: Higher Technician in Restoration, Technician in Cooking or similar.
Proven experience as a cook of at least 2 years, preferably in a collective catering environment or similar.
In-depth knowledge of culinary techniques and/or work hygiene standards (HACCP).
Ability to work efficiently and manage your own time in a fast-paced work environment.
Resourceful person with strong communication skills.
Teamwork.
Schedule availability.

The role

At Serunion, a contract catering company with more than 30 years of experience in the sector and a market leader, we are looking to hire personnel with experience in collective catering. We offer you the possibility to work as a cook at the Príncipe de Asturias hospital, Alcalá de Henares.

As part of our team, you will have the opportunity to put your culinary knowledge into practice within the facility spaces. We are currently looking for a Cook.

What you'll do

Develop preparations, ensure compliance with defined menus and technical data sheets, and implement good practices.
Prepare adapted menus and diets. Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure proper organization and workflow.
Oversee the inventory of ingredients and materials, placing orders when necessary.
Ensure compliance with hygiene and food safety regulations – HACCP record.
Perform cleaning and maintenance tasks in the work area, and control the use of machinery, materials, and tools.
Train new team members in kitchen practices and company procedures.
