Requirements

What we're looking for

Expert knowledge and solid experience in development with C# and .NET.
Experience acting as a technical reference and guiding other developers.
Ability to make and communicate architectural decisions.
Experience in web architectures based on microservices and events.
Mastery of development best practices, design patterns, and clean code.
Experience working with agile methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban.
Analytical capacity, autonomy, and collaboration with technical and business teams.

The role

At Sg Tech we are looking for a Head of .NET Software Engineering with expert knowledge of the .NET ecosystem and at least 6 - 7 years of experience.

What you'll do

Technically lead the development and maintenance of .NET solutions.
Define and review technical designs and architectural decisions, considering scalability, performance, and security.
Establish and promote development best practices, design patterns, and quality standards.
Supervise code reviews and guide the team in resolving complex technical problems.
Identify technical debt and propose an improvement and evolution plan for the applications.
Collaborate with the Product Owner and business areas to align technical priorities with product needs.
Participate in technical planning, identifying risks and dependencies.
Support the team through mentoring and knowledge transfer.
Drive observability and the continuous improvement of solutions.
Experience in similar positions

Technological stack of the position

C#, .NET Framework, and .NET Core.
Dapper.
Kubernetes.
Observability with Grafana and OpenTelemetry.
Relational databases, preferably SQL Server.
Redis for distributed cache and Streams management.
NoSQL document databases, preferably MongoDB.
Messaging systems, preferably RabbitMQ and Kafka.
REST APIs and OpenAPI.
