Nice to have

Knowledge of Centralized Traffic Control (CTC) systems, railway signaling, and railway control systems, as well as experience in IT and communications environments: Windows and Linux system administration, servers, TCP/IP networks, virtualization, databases, serial communications, and monitoring tools. We will also value knowledge of programming (C, C++, Java), client-server architectures, and experience in critical railway operation systems.
Required education: University degree in Telecommunications, Electronics, Computer, or Industrial Engineering, at either the Bachelor's or Technical Engineering level, or an equivalent degree.
B driving license required.
At least 2 years of experience required.

The role

For our Customer Service Business Unit, we are looking to hire a person for the position of Railway Control Systems Maintenance Engineer, with the objective of supporting the maintenance activities of Railway Control systems, including Siemens signaling systems and Centralized Traffic Control (CTC) installed in the Barcelona Metro network, in Ferrocarrils de la Generalitat de Catalunya (FGC), and in the ADIF conventional railway lines in Catalonia.
