Join our Rolling Stock department in Madrid as a TCMS Engineer - Central vehicle control. You will play a crucial role in developing software for train control systems, ensuring our locomotives are ready for the future.

What you'll do

  • Develop software for train control in the locomotives' environment.
  • Enhance locomotive control functions, such as multiple traction or auxiliary operation control, collaborating with technical experts.
  • Define hardware-software interfaces and coordinate with internal specialists across engineering departments and suppliers.
  • Specify functional requirements and translate them into code for the vehicle control unit (PLC).
  • Test functional behavior on test benches and directly on locomotives.
  • Trace and document all software changes meticulously.
