The role
Spendesk helps businesses manage their spending with more control, visibility and efficiency.
As part of the KYC & AML squad, you’ll help improve the onboarding and verification experience. Your work will make it easier for legitimate businesses to join Spendesk, while helping us prevent fraud and meet regulatory requirements.
You’ll work at the intersection of customer experience, compliance, business growth and technology.
Your main focus will be on solving meaningful product problems within the KYC & AML area. You’ll work closely with Product Managers and Engineers to understand customer needs, explore solutions and deliver valuable improvements to the product.
Designers are strategic partners within cross-functional teams. We collaborate with Product, Engineering, Data, Risk, Compliance and other stakeholders throughout discovery, design, delivery and iteration.
We believe designers should help define the right problem, not simply execute a predefined solution. You’ll be expected to understand the customer and business context, challenge assumptions constructively and make informed trade-offs.
What you'll do
Help shape and improve the KYC, KYB and AML onboarding experience.
Make complex requirements easier for customers to understand and complete.
Use research, customer feedback, product data and regulatory context to inform your decisions.
Explore, prototype and validate different solutions.
Work with Product and Engineering to assess trade-offs and technical feasibility.
Contribute to defining success measures and evaluating the impact of your work.
Design clear, accessible and trustworthy experiences for complex workflows.
Contribute to the wider Product Design practice through knowledge sharing and constructive feedback.
Depending on priorities, contribute to the evolution and adoption of Spendesk’s design system.
How you'll work
Flexible on-site and remote policy
