About the role

As a Senior Apparel Buyer, you will be part of the product purchasing process (Menswear), taking part in the negotiation and selection process according to the latest trends.
You will also work hand in hand with the planning team to decide on products and purchase quantities, negotiating and continuously visiting suppliers.

What you'll do

In your day-to-day:

  • Purchase alongside the planning team to maintain the best sales KPIs and stock levels.

  • Maintain a close relationship with suppliers, sharing information and needs to facilitate adaptability to market trends.

  • Travel to gather more information on new trends and negotiate product quantities and prices with suppliers.

  • Select the product that best suits customer needs and helps achieve targets.

  • Coordinate in-store product implementation with the marketing, merchandising and visual departments.

  • Oversee suppliers and negotiations with them to achieve better cost, lead time, quality and service conditions.

  • Propose a purchase structure to the Own Brands department organized by season, taking into account product arrival dates. Work jointly on defining the final purchase structure once the product has been selected.

  • Weekly sales analysis to take corrective actions and manage pricing.

  • Constant store visits to gather more information on product performance and competitor behavior.

  • Analysis of previous years' sales to identify key sales requirements and adjust the budget.
