  • Completed degree in Business Administration, Business Informatics, Finance, or a comparable qualification.

  • Several years of professional experience in Billing Operations, Financial Operations, Invoice Management, Cloud Business Management, or Commercial Operations.

The Expert Customer Billing & Invoice Operations Specialist is responsible for the correct, compliant, and efficient execution of financial, commercial, and billing processes within the cloud business.

As a central interface between customers and internal departments such as Sales, Finance, Operations, Delivery, Partner Management, and Customer Management, the position supports the entire Order-to-Cash (O2C) lifecycle, ensures the quality and consistency of invoices, supports commercial tender and proposal processes, and ensures compliance with standardized business processes.

The position combines sound financial knowledge with comprehensive know-how in the cloud business, operational governance, and strong stakeholder management skills. Furthermore, the role acts as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for TSI governance frameworks, financial steering, delivery models, and commercial processes.

  • Steering and coordination of order-to-cash activities for cloud products and services.
  • Ensuring correct and timely invoicing in accordance with contractual agreements and business policies.
  • Support and coordination of revenue-related processes in close cooperation with Finance, Sales, Service Delivery, and Partner Management.
  • Identification and clarification of billing-related errors, discrepancies, and process gaps.
  • Ensuring the alignment of order-to-cash processes with TSI governance, financial steering, and operational standards.
  • Processing and steering of invoices within the Financial Management & Billing (FMB) environment.
  • Ensuring that invoices are created, checked, and transmitted correctly, completely, and on time.
  • Coordination of invoice corrections and technical clarifications with the relevant stakeholders.
  • Ensuring transparency and traceability of billing transactions.
  • Support with financial reporting and requirements for commercial transparency.
  • Conducting detailed checks to ensure the quality and consistency of invoices.
