The role

At Talgo, we are dedicated to revolutionizing railway transport with innovative products ranging from very high-speed trains to regional and commuter solutions.

Our trains are characterized by being sustainable, safe, and high-quality. This versatility allows our trains to cross the Saudi Arabian desert at 300 km/h or travel through countries with extreme temperatures of up to -45º in Kazakhstan.

What you'll do

You will join a mechanical department at our facility located in Rivabellosa.

Your mission will be to carry out mechanical assemblies on the train, both in terms of cladding and interior finishing, in accordance with Talgo's standards and procedures, ensuring an optimal level of quality, schedule, cost, and safety.

To achieve this, you will carry out functions such as:

- You will be an essential part of assembling the mechanical components that make up Talgo trains, ensuring high-quality finishes that combine functionality, aesthetics, and comfort for thousands of passengers.
- You will accurately interpret mechanical blueprints to shape interior spaces.
- You will follow work instructions and established procedures, ensuring that each step of the process contributes to a flawless and safe final result.
- You will demonstrate your technical skill in every detail. You will use hand and power tools such as magnetic drills, rivet guns, torque wrenches, angle grinders, saws, grinders, milling machines, adhesives...

What will your job consist of?

What we are looking for in you: 🔎🔎

Training: Intermediate or Higher Degree in Mechanics or similar.
Experience: At least 2 years in mechanical assembly or carpentry work, in an industrial environment and using the aforementioned hand tools.
Knowledge: Ability to read mechanical schematics and blueprints.
Availability to work 3 shifts and to travel nationally and internationally as required.
