What we're looking for

Demonstrable experience leading technical teams (technical management PLUS delivery).

Experience in high-volume platforms (batch/streaming/near-real-time), with a focus on performance and stability.

Solid knowledge of Oracle OCI and the operation of data platforms in the cloud.

Demonstrable technical mastery in payment methods (essential): reconciliation, settlement, transactionality, brands/schemes, operations, and reporting.

Ability to interface with clients: clear communication, focus on closing, and expectation management.

Technical documentation: designs, quality criteria, operating procedures, and postmortems.

Nice to have

Experience in Oracle GoldenGate or other replication/CDC strategies

Experience with ETL/ELT tools and orchestration (e.g., ODI, Airflow, dbt, or other equivalents).

Experience with pipeline observability (metrics, alerts, data SLAs).

Knowledge of security and compliance applied to data (PII, minimization, retention, auditing).

Experience in PostgreSQL and/or hybrid multicloud environments.
