The role

We are looking for a Security Remediation Specialist with experience in Linux and Unix environments, responsible for identifying, prioritizing, and resolving vulnerabilities, ensuring compliance with corporate security standards, and reducing risk through hardening and remediation activities.

What you'll do

Analysis of results from tools such as:
- Tenable
- Qualys
- Rapid7
Vulnerability validation and discarding of false positives.
Prioritization based on CVSS, exploitability, and business impact.
Application of security patches and updates.
Implementation of hardening based on CIS Benchmarks.
Correction of insecure configurations.
Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL)
Ubuntu
CentOS
AIX
Solaris
Secure SSH configuration.
Permissions and authentication management.
Auditing and logging.
Principle of least privilege.
Review of kernel and security parameters.
Bash script development.
Advanced automation with Python.
Automation of processes for:
- Patching
- Hardening

Working together with Systems, Security, Networking, and DevOps teams.
Monitoring of remediation SLAs.
Preparation of reports and evidence for audits.
