What we're looking for

More than 3 years of demonstrable experience leading technical teams, with responsibility over the execution and delivery of solutions.
Experience in high-volume platforms, with batch, streaming, or near-real-time processing.
Solid knowledge of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and the operation of data platforms in the cloud.
Demonstrable technical experience in payment methods, including reconciliation, settlement, transactionality, payment brands and schemes, operations, and reporting.
Experience coordinating teams, managing priorities, and ensuring the delivery of technical solutions.
Ability to communicate with clients, clear communication, and expectation management.
Experience preparing technical documentation and operating procedures.

Nice to have

Experience with Oracle GoldenGate or other replication and Change Data Capture (CDC) technologies.
Knowledge of ETL/ELT and orchestration tools, such as Oracle Data Integrator (ODI), Apache Airflow, or dbt.
Experience in data pipeline observability, metrics, alerts, and SLAs.
Knowledge of security and compliance applied to data: PII, minimization, retention, and auditing.
Experience with PostgreSQL and hybrid or multicloud architectures.

Technical Engineering Lead | High Volume, Oracle OCI and Payment Methods

At Tecdata Engineering we are looking for a Technical Engineering Lead specialized in high-volume platforms and payment methods, to lead technical teams and guarantee the delivery, stability, and evolution of data platforms in cloud environments.

We are looking for a profile with hands-on leadership (hands-on), the ability to coordinate teams and manage deliveries, experience in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), and solid knowledge of the payment methods business.

What you'll do

Lead technical teams, coordinating both technical execution and the planning, monitoring, and delivery of projects.
Manage technical delivery, prioritizing tasks, resolving blockers, and ensuring compliance with agreed objectives.
Supervise high-volume platforms that process data through batch processes, streaming, and near-real-time architectures.
Guarantee the performance, availability, stability, and operational quality of the platforms.
Work with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and supervise the operation of data platforms in the cloud.
Coordinate processes and operations related to payment methods: reconciliation, settlement, transactional processing, payment brands and schemes, operations, and reporting.
Maintain fluid communication with the client, managing expectations, priorities, commitments, and possible incidents.
Prepare and maintain technical documentation: architecture designs, quality criteria, operating procedures, and post-mortem analyses.
Define work plans, prioritize the backlog, and establish monitoring metrics to improve team efficiency.
Drive improvements in observability, monitoring, and reliability of data pipelines.
Ensure compliance with security, audit, and data protection requirements.
