What we're looking for

● Indicative experience of 5 or more years in data engineering, with relevant involvement in production solutions and demonstrable autonomy, with at least 3 years in cloud data platforms and in client projects.

● Practical mastery of advanced SQL with performance optimization (execution plans, partitioning, clustering) and Python, source integration, data modeling, and ETL/ELT pipeline design. Modeling methodologies: dimensional/Kimball, Data Vault, SCD, and 3NF.

● Distributed processing with Spark/PySpark (batch, streaming).

● Solid experience in at least one data platform, such as Databricks, Snowflake, BigQuery, Microsoft Fabric, or Cloudera, Glue, Dataproc, and in a cloud or equivalent environment.

● Experience with transformation and orchestration, version control, testing, CI/CD, monitoring, and incident resolution, as well as dbt and Airflow or equivalents (Data Factory, Cloud Composer, Databricks Workflows) and infrastructure as code (Terraform).

● Lakehouse architectures and open formats (Delta Lake, Apache Iceberg, Parquet) and data quality frameworks (dbt tests, Great Expectations, or similar).

● Fluent Spanish and professional English for documentation and technical collaboration.

● Working in agile methodologies and direct communication with the business and the client.
