The role

At Tecdata Engineering, we are looking for a Tech Lead COBOL to join a long-term strategic project in the banking sector.

The selected person will participate in the development and evolution of critical applications, providing technical leadership to the team and collaborating on the design, development, and improvement of solutions based on Mainframe technologies.

What you'll do

Development and maintenance of applications in COBOL environments.
Design, programming, and improvement of software components.
Development in IBM CICS and DB2 environments.
Participation in architecture and technical design decisions.
Technical leadership and support for onshore and offshore teams.
Code review and application of development best practices.
Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to ensure scalable and high-quality solutions.
Analysis and resolution of complex incidents.
Participation in new developments for Banc Sabadell.
