The role
Temps, a leading company in talent selection and management, is looking to hire a Cook for an important residence located in Sevilla La Nueva. This is an excellent opportunity for professionals with experience in collective catering who wish to join a dynamic team during the summer months, July and August.
What you'll do
- Preparation and elaboration of daily menus, following established quality guidelines and standards.
- Raw material management: reception, storage, stock control, and waste management.
- Maintenance of cleanliness and disinfection of the kitchen and utensils, complying with hygiene and food safety regulations (HACCP).
- Collaboration in menu planning, taking into account the nutritional and dietary needs of the residents.
- Attention to possible requests or special dietary needs of the residents.
- Supervision and organization of the tasks of the kitchen support staff, if necessary.
- Guaranteeing the correct presentation and plating of food.
- Control of cooking and food preservation temperatures.
Requirements
- Demonstrable experience of at least 2 years as a cook, preferably in the collective catering sector (residences, hospitals, school cafeterias, etc.).
- Knowledge and application of food safety and hygiene regulations (HACCP).
- Ability to work in a team and under pressure.
- Schedule flexibility and availability to work morning shifts (08:00 to 15:00) and afternoon shifts (14:00 to 21:00).
- Availability to work weekends.
- Residence in Sevilla La Nueva or surroundings, or the possibility of commuting.
- Professional training in Cooking or similar will be valued.
