The role
We are looking for an OPERATIONS MANAGER to work in a courier, urgent transport, and logistics company specializing in the sanitary transport of biological samples, vaccines, and medicines, providing coverage to the main medical centers and national laboratories in the country. The company is located in Barcelona.
What you'll do
▸ Supervise the 6 offices daily: on-time delivery ratio, incidents, service quality.
▸ Traffic: route planning, vehicle assignment, coordination between offices.
▸ Special operations: urgent services, transport of biological samples, bespoke services, specific SLA one-off events.
▸ Quality: service audits, incident control, continuous improvement plan, and process redesign.
▸ Manage the own fleet: 85% vans.
▸ Coordinate with external providers: quotes, quality, optimized routes.
▸ Hiring personnel for local offices: drivers, area coordinators (together with the Recruiter)
▸ Manage the operational and logistics Customer Service team, together with the Customer Service Manager.
▸ Lead the centralization of customer service, together with the Customer Service Manager.
▸ Reduce critical incidents by 20%
