About the role

We are looking for a QUALITY CONTROL TECHNICIAN for a company dedicated to the manufacture of chemical products, specialized in solutions for agriculture and industrial sectors that require high-quality chelating agents and fertilizers, located in Santa Perpètua de Mogoda.

What you'll do

-Laboratory:

  • Analysis of raw materials, intermediate products, final products, and externally manufactured products.
  • Collection, grouping, lotting, and storage of final product and raw material samples.
  • Adjustment of products in the manufacturing process.
  • Preparation and standardization of solutions.
  • Preparation of standards and solutions for complex analytical equipment.
  • Interpretation of potentiograms and chromatograms.
  • Approval and custody of non-new raw materials.
  • Preparation of samples for analysis at external laboratories.
  • Calibration, verification, cleaning, and maintenance of laboratory equipment.
  • Calibration of analytical methods (HPLC calibration curves and spectrophotometer, method validation with standard samples, etc.).

-Documentation:

  • Computerization of results for products obtained in the laboratory.
  • Stock adjustments in the ERP for analyzed products.
  • Computerized recording of calibration and verification results.
  • Daily updating of interdepartmental communications.
  • Control and updating of the Inspection and Testing Plan at Receiving and for Final Product.
  • Recording of all types of laboratory incidents (equipment and analyses).
  • Physical and documentary management of laboratory material and reagent stock.

What you'll get

-Temporary contract (3 months) + possible permanent hire by the company

-Schedule: Monday to Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (1 hour for lunch)

-Salary: €15.02 gross/hour
