The role

At The Whiteam Consulting we are looking for a Backend Software Engineer to participate in the design, development, maintenance, and evolution of backend services and cloud-native platforms, contributing to the creation of scalable, reliable, and high-quality solutions. You will be part of a modern technological environment based on distributed architectures, microservices, containers, and Kubernetes platforms, actively collaborating in the development of APIs, test automation, continuous improvement of engineering processes, and the evolution of products within an Agile framework.

What you'll do

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable, maintainable, and reliable backend services and APIs.

  • Participate in technical decisions by providing engineering judgment and long-term vision.

  • Evolve and refactor backend components with a focus on quality, performance, and maintainability.

  • Design, develop, and maintain automated unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.

  • Ensure software quality through development best practices, code reviews, and test automation.

  • Participate in the definition, maintenance, and improvement of CI/CD pipelines and continuous delivery processes.

  • Work with containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.

  • Manage dependencies and artifacts using repositories such as Artifactory.

  • Collaborate with other teams to design and integrate distributed solutions.

  • Participate in troubleshooting activities, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement of service quality.

  • Use modern AI-based development and testing support tools to increase productivity and delivery quality.

  • Take responsibility for developed functionalities from their design to their production deployment.
