The role

We are looking to hire a Fleet Manager to coordinate the comprehensive management of the Water Solutions fleet, the Veolia truck fleet in Spain, and fuel expenditure control. The selected person will be responsible for driving homogeneous, efficient, and data-driven management, coordinating different companies, suppliers, and internal users.

The position will have a national scope and will combine the operational management of vehicles with cost analysis, indicator monitoring, and the identification of improvement opportunities.

What you'll do

Main responsibilities:

  • Comprehensively manage the Water Solutions fleet and coordinate the Veolia truck fleet in Spain, ensuring its availability, maintenance, documentation, utilization, and efficiency.
  • Supervise a fleet of more than 200 trucks and contribute to the coordination of approximately 7,400 vehicles under central management, using telemetry and other information systems to improve decision-making.
  • Define and monitor key fleet indicators: availability, utilization, mileage, maintenance, incidents, cost per vehicle, and operational efficiency.
  • Identify opportunities for the reuse and redistribution of trucks between companies, as well as synergies in maintenance, components, and services.
  • Manage and control fuel expenditure through the monitoring of card limits, consumption, possible misuse, vehicle retirements, expenses in Rydoo, and dashboards.
  • Detect deviations and propose savings, control, and fraud prevention measures, monitoring the results obtained.
  • Drive process standardization and continuous improvement in the management of vehicles, trucks, and fuel across the various companies and centers of Veolia in Spain.
  • Prepare periodic reports to facilitate decision-making and evaluate the economic and operational impact of implemented initiatives.
