On this occasion, the main functions consist of:

- Inspection and Testing (Preventive): Extinguishers: Verify pressure, cleanliness, accessibility, and seal condition.
- Detection/Alarm Systems: Test control panels, fire detectors, and manual call points.
- Extinguishing Systems (Sprinklers/Fire Hose Reels): Check pressure, flow rate, valves, hose condition, and automatic/manual operation of water pumps.
- Signage: Review that emergency lights and photoluminescent signs are functional and visible.
- Smoke control systems: Inspect barriers and fans/extractors.
