About the role

At Veolia Water Tech, we are looking for a Mechanical Maintenance Technician to work primarily with hydraulic pumps at seawater treatment facilities located in Adeje. The selected candidate will be responsible for mechanical maintenance and related operations.

What you'll do

Functions:
- Predictive, preventive, and corrective maintenance of machinery and equipment: vibration readings, temperature checks,
alignment, lubrication, oil changes, replacement of parts, etc.
- Diagnosis and repair of faults.
- Inspection of components.
- Installation and commissioning of new equipment.
- Reading and interpreting mechanical drawings and exploded views.
- Managing spare parts stock, requesting quotes, and supervising subcontractors.
- Supervising external work: machine shop services, repair of electric motors.
- Ensuring compliance with Safety regulations.
- Documenting interventions and reporting incidents.

Qualifications

 Requirements:

- Vocational training level FP II, Higher Degree Training Cycle (CFGS).
- Extensive knowledge and at least 2 years of experience as a mechanical
maintenance technician in industrial settings, performing preventive and corrective maintenance tasks.
- Experience with the following tasks: replacing bearings, mechanical seals,
gaskets, sealing joints, etc.
- Experience in the maintenance and repair of hydraulic pumps of various designs
(submersible, centrifugal, dosing, etc.)
- Experience in the maintenance and repair of agitators and other mechanical equipment.
- Experience in reading assembly drawings and exploded views.
- Knowledge of performing precision adjustments.
