What you'll do
Attend to, evaluate, and perform the relevant nursing techniques required by each pathology in the Emergency Services to ensure the best care for patients, guaranteeing that the nursing care provided in the service where duties are performed is comprehensive, timely, efficient, and personalized.
1. Perform triage for patients arriving at the emergency department, thereby ensuring their classification based on the pathologies presented.
2. Locate patients in the corresponding cubicle/service based on the pathologies presented.
3. Perform shift handover and reception in each patient's unit.
4. Keep the unit's admission and discharge log updated.
5. Perform, jointly with the physician, patient care from admission until their discharge from the emergency service. Plan, execute, and evaluate nursing care plans.
6. Perform daily reviews of medical orders, preparing the treatment card systematically, including the nursing care plan.
7. Make requests for drugs and materials to the pharmacy service, ensuring a minimum stock to be able to perform the corresponding procedures.
