Due to strong growth in our Power & Energy | WSP area, we want to add to our Transmission | WSP team in Valladolid, Madrid, and Santander a BIM Coordinator with experience in electrical transmission projects.

What you'll do

Your responsibilities will include leading the implementation of BIM methodology and the coordination and monitoring of electrical transmission infrastructure projects, both nationally and internationally.

You will be in charge of managing BIM projects for overhead High-Voltage lines, substations, and underground cabling, as well as BIM coordination of the civil, electrical, mechanical, structural, and protection disciplines, preparing and maintaining BIM project documentation (BEP, MIDP, MPDT, RACI, CAD/BIM matrices, and procedures), managing the CDE and collaborative workflows, BIM quality control, and interference analysis (clashes, regulatory clearances, and compatibility with civil layouts), all in alignment with the Corporate BIM Team.

What we're looking for

We are looking for a professional with a degree in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent, and specific training in BIM Methodology (BIM Manager Master's or similar), with at least 10 years of experience in the energy or electrical infrastructure sector, of which at least 5 years in BIM Coordinator or BIM Manager roles on transmission or High-Voltage projects.

Advanced proficiency in Revit (preferably MEP/Structure) and Navisworks is essential, as well as experience managing CDE environments (BIM360/ACC/Forma) and knowledge of electrical sector regulations and ISO 19650 applied to energy infrastructure.

Nice to have

Experience with specific electrical transmission tools such as OpenBuildings Designer, Civil 3D oriented to line routing, Tekla Structures (HV towers), and Infraworks will be especially valued, as well as experience in BIM automation (Dynamo, Python, Grasshopper), cost tools, rendering, and participation in complex electrical grid projects, renewable energy, or international interconnections. A high level of technical English is required.
