What we're looking for
Requirements and professional skills
- Minimum studies: Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Information Sciences,
preferably, or a Bachelor's degree in History, Philology, or Humanities in case
of having work experience in media. - Years of experience: 5 years of experience (preferably local-level
experience). - Specific knowledge required:
- Knowledge of layout with InDesign
- Knowledge of editing in web managers and social media management
- Required languages and level:
- Catalan (minimum level C, level D will be valued)
- Personal skills
- Proactive and motivated person.
- Passionate about journalism
- Preferably living in Vallès and knowing the territory.
- Ability to work in a team.

Objective
To research, write, and publish local current affairs content with rigor and immediacy,
keeping the community informed about the events in their surroundings.
Functions:
- Be responsible for the content assigned by management.
- Cover events in the municipalities that are part of the Som flagship newspapers
(Mollet, Parets, Montornés, Montmeló, La Llagosta, Sant Fost, and Martorelles). Attend
press conferences, provide news coverage, and photography.
- Layout and edit content in both print and digital formats.
- Manage communities, social networks, and sources.
- Create a network of contacts.
- Propose original topics.
