What we're looking for

Degree in Industrial Engineering, Energy Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or similar.
Initial experience or first professional internships in building installations (electricity, HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, etc.).
Basic knowledge of the Technical Building Code (CTE) and applicable regulations (REBT, RITE, RIPCI).
Interest in technical learning and incident resolution with team guidance.
Ability to communicate and collaborate with technical teams and clients.
Proactive attitude, desire to learn, and commitment to quality and well-done work.

Nice to have

Previous experience in technical control companies (OCT) or installations consultancy will be valued.

The role

At OCA Global we are looking to hire a Engineer Building Installations Technician to strengthen our Inspection and Technical Control team in the building area in Palma de Mallorca, with a focus on the supervision and verification of electrical, thermal, sanitary and air conditioning installations.

What you'll do

Your mission will be to participate in the verification of technical compliance, safety, and energy efficiency of the installations in the building projects we accompany.
You will collaborate with architects, engineering firms, and developers to ensure that each installation complies with the Technical Building Code (CTE), regulatory standards, and industry best practices, always with the support of the team.

You will be part of the OCA Global technical team, progressively developing your technical judgment in the verification, control, and validation of installations, accompanied by experienced professionals and a continuous learning environment.

Participate in the supervision and verification of electrical, thermal, sanitary, HVAC, and fire protection installations, ensuring their compliance with approved projects and current regulations.
Support the review of technical documentation: reports, plans, certificates, test protocols, and applicable regulations.
Perform on-site inspections alongside the team, detecting deviations and learning to propose corrective actions.
Collaborate in the preparation of clear and structured technical reports, incorporating conclusions and recommendations.
Provide technical support to clients, designers, and internal teams on matters related to installations.
Participate in the continuous improvement of technical control and quality processes within the installations area.
