Requirements

- University degree in Business Administration and Management, Economics, Accounting and Finance, Law and ADE, or similar.

- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar position, preferably in a consultancy, management firm, or professional office.

- Demonstrable experience in tax filing and recurring tax management for clients.

- Solid knowledge of the General Accounting Plan and Spanish tax regulations.

- Regular use of accounting and tax software. Experience with A3 will be valued.

- Good proficiency in Excel.

- Organized, rigorous, and proactive person with the ability to manage multiple clients and deadlines simultaneously.

- Ability for direct client interaction.

Nice to have

The following will be positively valued

- Experience in advising commercial companies and freelancers.

- Knowledge of Corporate Tax and annual accounts.

- Experience responding to Tax Agency requirements.

- Ability to work autonomously.

- Basic labor or commercial knowledge.

- Full-time, Monday to Thursday split shift and Friday mornings only (Flexible schedule, entry from 8:30 to 10:30h and exit from 17:30 to 19:30h, Friday from 9:30h to 14:30h)

The role

From Grupo Adecco, we are looking for a Tax Accountant with at least 3 years of experience in a consultancy, management firm, or professional practice, to join a consultancy located in Madrid.

What you'll do

They will be responsible for the bookkeeping of companies and self-employed individuals, periodic accounting closings, bank reconciliations, balance sheet reviews, preparation of annual accounts, and support with quarterly and annual closings. They will also be responsible for the preparation and filing of periodic taxes, including, among others, VAT models, withholdings, installment payments, informative returns, and support with Corporate Income Tax.

Main duties

- Full accounting management of a client portfolio.

- Recording and reviewing issued and received invoices, banks, amortizations, provisions, and accounting adjustments.

- Bank reconciliations and review of accounting balances.

- Preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual closings.

- Preparation and filing of taxes.

- Preparation of annual accounts and official books.

- Recurring customer service and advisory in accounting and tax matters.

- Support in responding to AEAT requirements.

- Coordination with the rest of the tax, labor, and commercial team of the consultancy.

Requirements

Knowledge of the A3 program is valued.
