About the role

From Adecco Selection, we are looking for an Energy IAQ Engineer for an important manufacturer of intelligent climate control systems.

The mission of the position is to analyze and generate technical documentation related to energy projects, tools, and testing for HVAC control and home automation integration solutions.

Additionally, seek the technical justification for problems and market needs related to the Energy area and drive regulatory research, associative activity (opinion groups), projects, tools, product training, and certifications in energy and air quality in the company's target markets.

Responsibilities:

- Participate in product development from the Energy area, collaborating with the R&D department in the preparation of HVAC and indoor air quality control and management requirements, drafting justifying technical reports (voluntary product certificates, reports in collaboration with universities or external laboratories) and performing product functional tests.

- Generate technical documentation related to energy projects, tools, and testing, having instruments available to justify the performance of systems, algorithms, and dissemination elements. Conduct regulatory and certification research at national and international levels related to the energy aspects of the product, promoting internal dissemination of these developments within the company. Share energy studies and research materials by attending conferences and specialized events. Participate in and develop communication with other related areas to facilitate and promote the flow of information between the market and the Energy R&D area.

- Support the development of the Training area, participating in the Training area within the Projects department and primarily contributing knowledge about solutions, testing, energy rating tools, and regulations.
