About the role

From Adecco, we are looking to bring on a Production Operator for the additive section of a large company in Lorca, dedicated to manufacturing masterbatch-type products.

The selected candidate will carry out manufacturing tasks, production process control, materials handling, and general line support.

The worker will perform, among others, the following tasks:

What you'll do

  • Collecting pallets of raw material from racks using a forklift.
  • Taking the raw material up to the upper floor of the plant and moving it with a manual pallet jack.
  • Manually feeding hoppers with bags of raw material.
  • Collecting and storing plastic waste in the designated area.
  • Starting up and preparing the plant's machines.
  • Waiting for and monitoring the extruder heating phase.
  • Supervising the process and the correct operation of the line.
  • Quality control of the final product (granulate or pellet).
  • Restocking plastic film rolls, pallets, and cardboard sheets for automatic packaging.
  • Bagging the product and building pallets.
  • Shrink-wrapping or wrapping pallets manually or with an automatic wrapping machine.
  • Cleaning machines, hoppers, and dosers using a vacuum cleaner (between order changes).
