A major company based at the Airport is looking to hire various profiles on the island of Gran Canaria: ramp assistant and traffic assistant.

What you'll do

The specific duties for each position will be as follows:

Ramp Assistant:

- Loading and unloading luggage.

- Transporting luggage to the terminal.

- Driving ground support equipment.

- Placing chocks, cones, and propeller guards, and occasionally operating baggage conveyor belts.

Traffic Assistant:

- Controlling passenger access to flights at the departure terminal.

- Customer service.

- Passenger boarding.

- Ticket issuance.

- Escorting and accompanying passengers to the aircraft.

What are we looking for?

For the Ramp Assistant position:

- Compulsory Secondary Education (required).
- Driver's license B (required).
- Flexible working hours (required).
Experience in positions of similar characteristics will be valued.
- Knowledge of office software.
- Ability to adapt to different environments.
- Additional training in Intermediate or Advanced Vocational Training and/or a high school diploma will be valued.
- Driver's license C, D, or E will be valued.

For the Traffic Assistant position:

High school diploma.
Experience in similar positions.
- Knowledge of office software (Excel, Word, email, etc.).
- Minimum English level of B1.
- Flexible working hours.
- For both positions, an official disability certificate of 33% or higher issued by the competent public body will be required.
