What we're looking for

Availability of overhead crane, forklift, and fenwick licenses

To be considered for the position, the following is required:

Vocational Training (Intermediate or Higher degree) in Machining or a similar specialty.

Previous experience as a lathe operator, preferably as a first-class skilled tradesperson.

Knowledge of CNC lathe programming, with specific experience in MAZAK, FANUC, and FAGOR being valued.

Ability to interpret technical drawings and work with tight tolerances.

Experience in the use of measuring instruments such as micrometers and calipers.

Availability to work rotating morning and afternoon shifts.

Overhead crane, forklift, and fenwick licenses.

Own vehicle.

Proactive attitude, quality orientation, and ability to work in a team.

The role

Are you passionate about the world of machining and do you have experience working with CNC lathes? We have an excellent opportunity for you! A renowned company located in Okendo, Álava, is looking to add a lathe operator to its team who is eager to contribute their talent and grow professionally.

What you'll do

Interpret, read, and understand technical drawings, including their specifications and tolerances
Perform machine-side programming or the modification of existing programs (experience with MAZAK, FANUC, and FAGOR CNC lathes will be valued).
Prepare and set up tools and fixtures on the CNC lathes, adjusting parameters (speed, feed rates, depth of cut).
Machining of parts according to specifications, working with different materials
Perform dimensional and finish verification of parts using metrology instruments (micrometers, calipers, etc.)
Execute basic preventive and corrective maintenance of the machine.

How you'll work

Monday to Friday schedule in morning and afternoon shifts.

Temporary contracts with the possibility of long duration.
