SAP ABAP Consultant - Logistics

• Minimum of 4-5 years of experience in SAP ABAP development.

• Experience in functional analysis and the ability to understand and translate business requirements into technical solutions.

• Functional knowledge of logistics processes in SAP, especially in MM and EWM.

• Ability to participate in meetings with the business, identify needs, and propose solutions.

• Knowledge of purchasing processes, inventory management, goods receipt and dispatch, warehouse management, sales and distribution, transport, and logistics.

• Knowledge regarding integrations between logistics and financial processes.

• Intermediate-advanced level of English (B2); you will work in an international company.

We are looking to hire an SAP Consultant (ABAP) for a leading company in innovative logistics solutions, which seeks to strengthen its development team with a profile capable of combining solid technical knowledge in SAP ABAP with functional experience in Logistics processes. With headquarters located in 📍Alcalá de Henares.

Participate in the analysis, design, development, and evolution of SAP solutions, acting as a link between business needs and their technical implementation. The person will integrate into the Development team, collaborating closely with the Development Manager and with key users to define efficient, robust solutions aligned with business processes.

• Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical and functional solutions within the SAP environment.

• Design and develop solutions in SAP ABAP, participating in both evolutionary projects and corrective support.

• Develop reports, interfaces, forms, BADIs, User Exits, and Z developments.

• Design and maintain integrations between SAP and external systems.

• Participate in implementation, improvement, and evolution projects for SAP solutions.

• Collaborate in the functional analysis and design of improvements and incidents.

• Participate in meetings with the business and key users to understand their needs and propose viable solutions.

• Provide support to the Development Manager in communicating with different business areas.

• Prepare and maintain the functional and technical documentation of the developed solutions.

• Participate in the continuous improvement of logistics processes and associated integrations.
