The role

At RDT, we want to expand our team in Madrid; we need to hire a Senior Materials Engineer to participate in projects within the energy sector.

What you'll do

  • Review contractual documentation and technical scope related to piping materials, ensuring the correct coordination and integration of information with the rest of the disciplines involved in the project.

  • Prepare, review, and validate technical documentation associated with piping materials, including piping classes, calculation reports, technical specifications, inquiry and purchase requisitions, as well as typical assembly drawings.

  • Coordinate and distribute workloads within the team, ensuring the correct execution of assigned tasks and compliance with established quality standards.

  • Supervise and control the progress of piping material deliverables, guaranteeing compliance with project planning, deadlines, and objectives.

  • Monitor team productivity, controlling man-hours consumed against those budgeted and identifying deviations from the planned schedule.

  • Prepare progress reports, lessons learned, and case studies of completed projects, contributing to the continuous improvement of processes and work methodologies.

  • Participate in project planning, identifying and estimating the volume of engineering deliverables, resource needs, man-hour allocation, and execution schedules.

  • Collaborate with the different engineering and project management areas to guarantee compliance with technical, contractual, and quality requirements.
