What you'll get

Our benefits are designed to support your health and wellbeing, at work and beyond. We keep improving them based on employee feedback, and offerings vary by location. Talent Acquisition will confirm what applies for this role and location during the process.

The role

As Manufacturing Technician on the HAPS team, you will be hands-on at the heart of building something genuinely unprecedented - a stratospheric, unmanned electric aircraft that will set a new mark in aviation history. Your work spans the full breadth of assembly and integration: fabricating lightweight carbon fibre composite structures, building cable harnesses and high-density battery packs, integrating avionic subsystems, and running end-to-end ground tests to verify that every system is ready to fly. Beyond the build itself, you will play an active role in developing and refining the assembly and testing processes that will carry this programme from early prototypes into a mature, repeatable production flow - working closely with engineers to transition new designs from drawing board to reality.

What you'll do

  • Assembly of large, but very lightweight unmanned aircraft

  • Fabrication of lightweight aircraft structures/components and building CFRP composite parts

  • Development of new assembly, integration and testing processes, and tools for an ultra-light UAV

  • Manufacturing of electronics assemblies and sub-level components (such as cable harness manufacturing and battery manufacturing of state-of-the-art high power density batteries)

  • Transitioning new designs from engineering to manufacturing

Role highlights

• Manufacturing Technician, Unmanned Aircraft (Fabrication and Integration)
• Location: Valencia, Spain
• Department: HAPS
• Reports to: Head of Manufacturing
• Employment type: Permanent
• Workplace model: Onsite
• Employment is subject to applicable security screening (incl. SUPO, where required)
