Composite Materials Technician

Education:

Intermediate or Higher Vocational Degree in branches related to mechanical manufacturing / Aeronautical structures assembler / Machining / Intermediate or Higher degree in bodywork

Material and polymer molding/forming

Intermediate level English

Experience:

Experience in any activity related to the indicated vocational training specialties

Work experience in the manufacturing or repair of composite materials will be especially valued

Any experience in aeronautical maintenance will be valued, especially in engines or components.

Job duties:

In the adhesives and composites section, there are two defined work areas:

Repairs on parts and with non-metallic repair materials. Composite materials, adhesives, silicones, coatings, and various types of fillers.

Repairs on Fan main casing structures:

Of a metallic nature. Blending, local machining with hand tools, general structural adjustment work

Application of paints, coatings, replacement of consumable elements, composite material paneling/depaneling

Work responsibilities also occasionally include the final inspection of repairs carried out, work outside the section on assembly lines, test benches or work directly on aircraft in the hangar or off-site.

Job responsibilities:

Strict following of repair instructions and processes

Compliance with the rules and procedures applicable to the section's activity

Use and care of the tools made available to you

Use and preparation of the consumable products used for the processes

Comply with housekeeping and cleaning standards

Compliance with the occupational safety regulations applicable to your activity

Correctly document presence and activity in the system according to established policies
