R&D Engineer - Web Server

• Development of new products and integrations. The position's objective is the development of firmware for embedded IoT connectivity modules, as well as the development of home automation integrations with third-party protocols or products.
• Development and maintenance of integrations
• Study of third-party protocol specifications.
• Development of integration drivers.
• Maintaining relationships with third-party companies/integrators.
• Development of new products
• Maintain, improve, and evolve the codebase.
• Use of libraries for peripheral control.
• Firmware development in embedded systems with Linux and C/C++.
• Ability to face and understand the requirements of new projects, with an analytical vision and structured development of solutions.
• Evaluation and validation of newly developed products
• Execution of tests and validation.
• Bug detection and correction.
• Documentation
• Writing documentation for the work carried out in the environment indicated for the project or task.

• Telecommunications, Industrial, or Electronic Engineer or Technical Engineer (or in the final year of studies with the possibility of a Final Degree Project).
• Experience in firmware development in embedded Linux systems.
• Knowledge of the Linux operating system.
• Experience with connectivity firmware (sockets, TCP/UDP) and integration drivers.
• Languages: C/C++.
• Ability to multitask in agile projects.
• Valuable:
• Electronic instrumentation.
• IoT/home automation protocols (Modbus, MQTT, Bluetooth, REST API).
• Embedded development tools (Yocto Linux, CMake).
• CI/CD (Docker, GitLab, bash scripting).
• Automated tests.
• Other languages (NodeJS, Python).
• English level B2.

• Ingeniero o Ingeniero Técnico en Telecomunicaciones, Industrial o Electrónica (o cursando último año con posibilidad de TFG).
• Experiencia en desarrollo de firmware en sistemas Linux embebidos.
• Conocimiento de sistema operativo Linux.
• Experiencia con firmware de conectividad (sockets, TCP/UDP) y drivers de integración.
• Lenguajes: C/C++.
• Capacidad multitarea en proyectos ágiles.
• Valorable:
• Instrumentación electrónica.
• Protocolos IoT/domóticos (Modbus, MQTT, Bluetooth, API REST).
• Herramientas de desarrollo embebido (Yocto Linux, CMake).
