Requirements

What we're looking for

  • 2 years of experience working in Big Data environments: Data Lakes and data-intensive applications.
  • Experience in analyzing data at scale and guaranteeing data quality.
  • Knowledge of Python is essential.
  • Experience working in close collaboration with business teams to understand business requirements and anticipate problems.
  • Analytical mind and strong organization and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with the Scrum framework.
  • Good English skills (we are an international company and English is our working language).

Nice to have

  • Knowledge of Azure DataBricks, Azure Data Factory, and PySpark (Apache Spark with Python).
  • Knowledge of Quality & Test processes, tools, and techniques.
  • Knowledge of metamorphic testing or property-based testing.

The role

What you'll do

  • Work in a team focused on big data ETL.
  • Work with agile methodology in 2-week sprints.
  • Guarantee the quality of the data lake together with the rest of the team.
  • Execute data analysis.
  • Understand business logic, execute queries in the data lake, and evaluate the results.
  • Collaborate with the data science and machine learning teams.

  • 100% remote work, offices in Madrid
