Requirements

What we're looking for

Experience in IBM DataStage and ETL process development.
Solid knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
Experience in integration, transformation and processing of data from different sources.
Ability to analyze, optimize and resolve incidents in data flows and processes.

Nice to have

Knowledge or experience in data platforms and cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, Snowflake, Databricks or Microsoft Fabric.
Highly valued experience with Cloud Pak for Data (CP4D), knowledge of Python, Spark, dbt or orchestration tools, and participation in migration projects from DataStage to cloud platforms.

The role

At Logicalis Spain, we want to recruit a Data Engineer with solid experience in DataStage. The selected person will work mainly with DataStage and may also participate in data engineering projects on modern platforms such as AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, Snowflake, Databricks or Microsoft Fabric.

The Data, Analytics & AI team at Logicalis works with national and international clients, carrying out important projects in data engineering, artificial intelligence and advanced analytics, data strategy, governance, integration and architecture, covering the entire data lifecycle.

What you'll do

Design, develop and maintain data integration and transformation processes with IBM DataStage.
Analyze and optimize ETL processes, guaranteeing their performance, quality and traceability.
Integrate data from different sources and participate in incident resolution.
Collaborate with architecture, engineering and analytics teams to define and implement data solutions.
Participate in modernization, evolution and migration projects of data platforms.
Contribute to the adoption of new technologies and data engineering platforms in cloud environments.
