The role
At Allianz, we are looking for someone with an analytical vocation, an interest in the insurance business, and the desire to develop their professional career in the actuarial field within a leading multinational firm.
You will be part of the Life Corporate Actuarial team, collaborating on the technical and financial analysis of the Life and Death portfolio, participating in key processes for business management, risk valuation, and strategic decision-making.

What you'll do
- Preparation of the IFRS 17 quarterly report figures for the Life and Death business and their communication to the Reserves Committee and the Report to the group in Munich.
- Analyze sensitivities and scenarios to allow for the evaluation of portfolio behavior and to support decision-making.
- Reporting to Management, including the necessary analyses to support the understanding of figures and their movement. CSM reconciliation with other value metrics, including MCEV, as well as CLV (Customer Life Value).
- Preparation of the IFRS 17 report for the Life and Death business for each of the years in the company's 3/5-year strategic plan.
- Collaborate in the calculation and monitoring of key business indicators (KPIs), such as Return on Equity (RoE).
- Participate in the modeling and monitoring of technical provisions for the Life portfolio under different accounting and regulatory frameworks (Spanish Local Accounting, Solvency II, and IFRS).
- Contribute to the preparation of reports, analyses, and presentations aimed at different areas of the organization.
- Participate in process improvement, automation, and advanced data exploitation initiatives using analytical and artificial intelligence tools.
Experience and Technical Knowledge
- We will especially value profiles with 8 - 12 years of previous experience in cash flow projection and actuarial process optimization for different regulatory metrics: MCEV, SII, IFRS17, Local Reserves, etc.
- Experience in programming in Python, SQL, Risk Agility FM, or similar actuarial software. Experience in VBS and Power Query for automation and data analysis.
- Interest in process automation, advanced analytics, and solutions based on Artificial Intelligence.
- Analytical skills and a problem-solving orientation.
- Organisation, planning and prioritisation of work, with autonomy, flexibility and a focus on continuous improvement.
- Attention to detail and technical rigor.
- Communication and presentation of results skills.
