Description

The HR Business Partner is responsible for operational excellence and organizational health in the assigned centers, acting as an individual collaborator in close alliance with local teams and center leadership teams.

This role will strengthen the culture and achieve business results by translating organizational priorities into action plans, making data-driven decisions, and collaborating with campus leaders to improve the employee experience. This role is responsible for the employee experience, overseeing center-level feedback mechanisms, recognition programs, and standards that shape trust, commitment, and performance.

Physical presence at Amazon facilities is required, with mobility to support multiple centers within the assigned region.

Key job responsibilities

• Foster bidirectional communication between employees and leaders through feedback mechanisms such as associate voice, roundtables, and site walkthroughs.

• Execute and track engagement strategies and recognition programs, including budget planning and recognition activities.

• Build an environment where employees feel safe and included, ensuring equitable talent practices.

• Maintain a meaningful on-site presence throughout the facility, gathering information and identifying early signs of disengagement.

Operational Excellence and Center Standards

• Conduct regular site walkthroughs to assess workplace conditions and maintain facility standards in line with Amazon standards.

• Collaborate with site leaders and security teams to ensure consistent execution of security programs.

• Lead community initiatives at the site, partnering with Public Policy and Public Relations teams.

• Improve site effectiveness by identifying systemic patterns, addressing root causes, and ensuring consistent and fair policy application.

• Data-Driven and Technology-Based Decision Making

• Use data analysis to identify emerging trends, anticipate challenges, and implement proactive solutions.

• Drive adoption of HR technology solutions, AI, and self-service tools, while maintaining high-touch service during critical moments. Strategic PXT Leadership

• Partner with site leadership team to balance operational needs with Amazon's people values and priorities.

• Guide business leaders on effective people management practices, including performance feedback, team development, and employee relations matters.

• Support change implementation by reinforcing messaging, addressing resistance, and helping leaders translate change into local routines.

• Execute key PXT processes while building trust and influence through business acumen.
