We are looking for an Occupational Health Specialist to join one of our centers.

Key job responsibilities

• Conduct occupational health examinations and provide medical assistance, including performing assessments, writing reports, and providing first aid.
• Work with the WHS (Workplace Health and Safety) team to analyze risks, propose improvements, and manage sensitive cases.
• Coordinate with authorities, mutual insurance companies, and external prevention services on matters related to workplace accidents and investigations.
• Prepare epidemiological reports, improvement plans, and proactive programs to enhance employee health, as well as collect statistical data for management.
• Ensure compliance with Spanish legislation, implement safety and ergonomics training programs, and promote health commitment among management and workers.

• Specialist in Occupational Medicine.
• Experience as an internal or external Occupational Health Physician.
• Customer-oriented reasoning.
• Availability to support different Fulfillment Centers
• Fluent in Spanish.

• Accredited knowledge in Occupational Health and Safety in an industrial and logistics environment.

A day in the life

We start the day with a meeting with the nursing team to prepare for the day, followed by reviewing emails and messages on Slack and Chime. Then we begin health examinations and attend to any medical consultations that arise. After all, employee health is our top priority. We also work with occupational health and safety technicians to review incidents. We spend time managing and developing crucial projects to optimize individual and collective health. Other parts of the day may include meetings with stakeholders such as DDD, MUTUA, and CSS. We also spend some time managing and developing important projects to optimize individual and collective health. At the end of the day, it's time for the shift change, where we share the day's news.

The workplace safety and health (WHS) team plays a key role in protecting the mental and physical well-being of our people. Our team works with managers, technicians, and local governments in all our sites, ensuring compliance with Amazon's policies and regulations and the safety of our workplaces.

Key job responsibilities

• Realizar exámenes de salud laboral y proporcionar asistencia médica, incluyendo la realización de evaluaciones, redacción de informes, y prestación de primeros auxilios.
• Participar en el equipo de WHS (Seguridad, Salud Laboral), analizando riesgos, proponiendo mejoras, y gestionando casos de especial sensibilidad.
• Coordinar con autoridades, mutuas y servicios de prevención ajenos aquellos temas relacionados con accidentes laborales e investigaciones.
• Elaborar informes epidemiológicos, planes de mejora, y programas proactivos para mejorar la salud de los empleados, además de recopilar datos estadísticos para la dirección.
• Asegurar el cumplimiento de la legislación española, implementar programas de capacitación en seguridad y ergonomía, y fomentar el compromiso con la salud entre gerencia y trabajadores.

• Especialista en Medicina del Trabajo.
• Experiencia como Médico del Trabajo interno o externo.
• Razonamiento y orientación al cliente.
• Disponibilidad para dar soporte a los diferentes Centros Fulfillment
• Castellano fluido.

• Conocimiento acreditado en Seguridad y Salud Laboral en un entorno industrial y logístico.

A day in the life

Iniciamos la jornada con una reunión junto al equipo de enfermería para preparar el día, y continuamos con la revisión de emails y mensajes de Slack y Chime.
